People have higher expectations for the experiences they have with brands on their phones. That’s likely because it’s where they’re spending much of their time. In fact, people today have 2X more interactions with brands on mobile than anywhere else—that includes TV, in-store, you name it.
In some ways, we have all come to expect instant information. But expecting the actual product or service right away? That’s the new normal.
We can illustrate this with search data. Mobile searches related to “same-day shipping” have grown over 120% since 2015 as people are no longer willing to wait even a few days for their order to arrive. We can also see that searches for “same-day shipping” peak first thing in the morning. – Google
Most people are good at communicating but when they get on the stage or in front of the room, they get uncomfortable. Is that you?

Customer Experience is the LMS I am creating. To get some fresh material I took on a couple of short part-time jobs where I could get the really great material. One job I am doing is only 4 days. You can see how you might do this too. The job for 4 days is as an Event Manager for the graduation classes in June. I have already done 1 night and the customer experience content was invaluable. I did a few weeks at Macy’s for a holiday sale too. This offered incredible value for gathering customer service material.
Summary: Consider taking a short part-time job to get fresh or current material for your book, speech, blog, social media, etc. It is a lot of fun AND educational. Be a leader of the content area for your expertise by learning fresh material.
As someone on the “Spectrum” (i.e. autism) which includes severe depression and bi-polar myself, Anthony’s suicide hit me hard. I was a strong admirer of his work. He has had trouble in his past with suicidal thoughts too.
